What is the DAICE Program?

The Programme Diversification, Industrial Acceleration, Competitiveness and Employment (DAICE) is a flagship programme of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, designed to accelerate the structural transformation of the Ivorian economy through industrialization.

Funded with the support of the African Development Bank (ADB)DAICE aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Ivorian enterprises, diversify the industrial fabric, promote investment and create sustainable jobs for the population.

Total cost CFAF 116.76 billion over a period of 5 yearsThe programme is structured around four major components covering the entire industrial value chain.

Accelerate the industrialization of Côte d'Ivoire by strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises, diversifying the industrial fabric and creating sustainable jobs for the people.

Vision

To make Côte d'Ivoire a leading industrial hub in West Africa, with a diversified, competitive and integrated industrial fabric in regional and global value chains.

Objectives

To support the structural transformation of the Ivorian economy by supporting the implementation of strategic orientations and interventions for industrialization, as enshrined in NDP 2021-2025.
